Sing Praise
The 22nd chapter of 2 Samuel is David’s song to the Lord—a song of deliverance. It is sometimes viewed as a snapshot of David’s life or a summary of his walk with God. Each time he called upon the Lord, God answered him! He knew God’s promises and relied on them. That is why he could say that God’s way is perfect. Moreover, the words of the Lord are true, proven to David in times of great distress. What is your song today? As you review the highlights of your spiritual life, how often can you say like David, “You, Lord, delivered me.” Hold fast to the promises of His Word and remember all the ways God has come through for you. Then sing His praises for what He has done.
